Description
A soft, hazy sky over a long, flat shore, with one thin dark line where the land meets the sea. Psalm 121:8 is written low in the work, along the long road of shore: the LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in.
The verse
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Psalm 121:8
Psalm 121 is a song of ascents, sung by travellers on their way up to Jerusalem. It ends with a promise: every time you leave and every time you come home, God keeps you, now and for ever.
