IIHorizon- The verse
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1
- What it says
Psalm 91 is the great psalm of God's protection. Its first line speaks of the secret place, the hidden place close to God, and of living there under His shadow, the way a bird covers its young (verse 4). A verse about a life lived close to God.
- The collection
Horizon is a collection of abstract canvases in soft, horizontal bands of colour, like a landscape seen from a distance. A line of Scripture is set low in each work, as part of the surface. From across the room you see the colour. Up close, you read the words.
- The making
Printed on archival canvas and made to order, to hang as it is or in a floating frame.
