IIHorizon- The verse
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Psalm 121:8
- What it says
Psalm 121 is a song of ascents, sung by travellers on their way up to Jerusalem. It ends with a promise: every time you leave and every time you come home, God keeps you, now and for ever.
- The collection
Horizon is a collection of abstract canvases in soft, horizontal bands of colour, like a landscape seen from a distance. A line of Scripture is set low in each work, as part of the surface. From across the room you see the colour. Up close, you read the words.
- The making
Printed on archival canvas and made to order, to hang as it is or in a floating frame.
