IIHorizon- The verse
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7
- What it says
Paul wrote this letter from prison. The word "keep" is the word for soldiers guarding a city, so God's peace stands guard over your heart and mind. A verse about a peace that holds when you cannot explain it.
- The collection
Horizon is a collection of abstract canvases in soft, horizontal bands of colour, like a landscape seen from a distance. A line of Scripture is set low in each work, as part of the surface. From across the room you see the colour. Up close, you read the words.
- The making
Printed on archival canvas and made to order, to hang as it is or in a floating frame.
