IIHorizon- The verse
God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:16
- What it says
John wrote his letters as an old man, and this short sentence is the heart of them. God is love, and whoever lives in love lives in God. A verse about the love that holds a home together.
- The collection
Horizon is a collection of abstract canvases in soft, horizontal bands of colour, like a landscape seen from a distance. A line of Scripture is set low in each work, as part of the surface. From across the room you see the colour. Up close, you read the words.
- The making
Printed on archival canvas and made to order, to hang as it is or in a floating frame.
