IIHorizon- The verse
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Psalm 16:11
- What it says
Psalm 16 is a psalm of David about trusting God with your whole life, and this is its final line. The apostle Peter quotes it in his first sermon, in Acts 2. A verse about a joy that lasts for evermore.
- The collection
Horizon is a collection of abstract canvases in soft, horizontal bands of colour, like a landscape seen from a distance. A line of Scripture is set low in each work, as part of the surface. From across the room you see the colour. Up close, you read the words.
- The making
Printed on archival canvas and made to order, to hang as it is or in a floating frame.
