Verse of the Month·

Isaiah 40:8

“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

Isaiah 40:8

October is a month of change. The light softens, the evenings come earlier, and the leaves that were green all summer begin to turn and fall.

Isaiah 40 uses that same picture. Grass withers and flowers fade, and so do many of the things we lean on: our plans, our seasons, the way things used to be. Next to all of that, one thing does not change. The word of our God stands forever.

It is the reason we bring His words into our homes. Not as something that comes and goes with the seasons, but as something to return to every day, whatever the month brings.

As the season turns, may you find rest in the promises that do not fade.

With grace,
The AENON HOME Team
