A New Morning, A New Mercy

May is a reminder that God’s mercy is new every morning. No matter what the last season looked like, His grace meets us again each day.

Lamentations 3:22–23 reminds us that God stays faithful through every season of life. This month’s reflection is about renewal, hope, and starting again with faith.

Life can feel heavy sometimes. Some seasons leave us tired, uncertain, or discouraged. But this verse reminds us that God’s mercy never runs out.

“His mercies are new every morning” is a reminder that every new day is a fresh beginning. We do not have to carry yesterday forever. God continues to give grace, strength, and hope even in difficult moments.

What makes this verse even more powerful is that it was written during a time of sadness and struggle. Even then, there was still faith in God’s goodness.

There is comfort in knowing that God stays the same through every season. His mercy is not based on perfect days or perfect people. It is steady, constant, and always present.

As the season changes, may this verse remind you to slow down, trust God again, and remember that He is still working in your life.

May this month bring peace, renewal, and a deeper trust in God’s timing.

And may you always remember that His mercy is waiting for you each morning.

With grace,
